Our Mission

The Lifetime Learning Center (LLC), a nonprofit educational institution since 1981, is a resource all older adults in the Seattle area should know about.

Our mission is to provide a program for older adults to enrich their educational and cultural knowledge and physical well-being in an intellectually stimulating and socially supportive environment.

You may know these board members as students and teachers, but in their board roles they have given their time and effort to helping plan for the future of the Lifetime Learning Center. Their role was absolutely critical in evaluating sites for our new home, and in preparing the building for our arrival. If you like our new home, and I know many of you do, I invite you to say thank you to them for work they put into our arrival at John Marshall in April. They are a great and dedicated group!
