Ways to Give to Lifetime Learning Center

All donations are tax deductible! We are a Seattle-based, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization since 1981, supported exclusively by fees, grants, and fund-raising.

Online Giving

You may now give to LLC online using a bank card by clicking the "Donate" button below. You can specify any amount to give. You may give to the Center on behalf of someone else, for example, to celebrate a birthday or to honor a loved one's passing.

PCC Natural Markets Scrip

If you shop at PCC, you can do a good deed for the Learning Center. Purchase a scrip card preloaded with $10, and use the card like a credit card when you make purchases. Twice a year PCC totals up the purchases you've made with the scrip card, and pays 5% of the total to LLC. Come to the office if you're interested in purchasing a PCC scrip. Thanks to Jeannie Eisenberg for connecting us with PCC.

Annual Appeal

Once a year we ask our students, friends and supporters to contribute to the Learning Center. The generosity of those contributing to LLC is what bridges the gap between revenues from fees and the Center's expenses. Contributions to the Annual Appeal ensure that the Center continues to offer its program in the future.

Leaving a Bequest to the Learning Center

Most of us (should be all of us!) have an estate plan that makes sure our wealth passes on to our families in the way we want it to. Our estate plans can also be a way to make a difference to organizations we value.

Consider making a bequest to LLC. It doesn't have to be a large amount. But we are a small enough organization that your thoughtfulness in leaving a bequest can have an impact. LLC has existed for 30 years. You can help make sure it serves the generations that will follow us.

Memorial Scholarship Fund

There is a scholarship fund to help pay the class fees for potential students unable to enroll in courses due to financial hardship. Our goal is to allow anyone desiring to take LLC classes to do so, whatever their financial condition. Those interested will be able to discuss scholarship applications with Edla at LLC's office.
